Emil Chan

Chairman of FinTech Committee, Smart City Consortium
Emil is a FinTech enthusiast with over 20 years experience in managing IT and business transformation projects in international financial institutions.  He had worked for several sizeable international banks including Credit Suisse and BayernLB as the roles of First Vice President, Head of IT in Asia Pacific, Project Director and Operations Manager AP.  He has extensive experience in both Business and IT consulting encompassing the design, setup, leading and managing of cross-border projects throughout Asia.  Emil is currently the co-founder and CEO of Starthub Holding Ltd., a startup entrepreneur consulting firm.  He is also a part-time lecturer of postgraduate eBusiness and FinTech courses for several renowned business schools such as Hong Kong University SPACE, Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and Hang Seng Management College.  Moreover, he compiles and delivers in-house training courses for well known international companies and financial institutions, facilitating their staff to make good use of technology to increase the companies' competitiveness. 
In the past 10 years, he participated actively in voluntary community services in related to popularization of technology.  He leads the IBM User Group as the Chairman since 2006.  He is also the founding Chairman of the Association of Cloud and Mobile Computing Professionals, the Vice President of Internet Profession Association (iProA), the Charter Secretary and President Elect of Rotary Club of Smart Hong Kong, the Vice Chairman of Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association.  He is the judge of several major IT competitions including Hong Kong ICT Awards and Pan-Pearl Delta Universities IT Projects Competition in Hong Kong and China since 2010.  He also sits on the board of The Smart City Consortium as the FinTech Committee Chair and the committee of the Hong Kong Cross Border eCommerce Association.  Emil also hosts seminars, delivers public speeches and publishes articles of FinTech related topics on local newspapers and interviewed by various media from time to time.
Emil had obtained a bachelor degree on Applied Computer Science and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master of Business Administration degree.  To facilitate his training skill, he also obtained the NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) Trainer and CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) certifications around a decade ago.

Savio Hui

Senior Manager - Technology Risk Management, Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited​
Savio Hui serves as the Senior Manager (Technology Risk Management) of the Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited (HKICL), which is a company jointly owned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and The Hong Kong Association of Banks to provide interbank multicurrency clearing and settlement services to all banks in Hong Kong and also operate a central clearing and settlement system for public and private debt securities on behalf of the HKMA.  Savio has more than fifteen years of solid working experience in information security field.  He leads a team of professionals responsible for the overall information security risk management for HKICL.

Anthony is a pioneer and veteran cyber-security advocate, consultant, instructor, auditor
and business leader, with over 20 years' professional experience, in the Asia Pacific region.  He has held inaugural AP-leading security business management roles at IBM, CA and Check Point.  His current advocacy areas include governance, application security, cloud security and smart/safe cities/nations.
 
Anthony is a long-time well-known speaker and content provider for many industry, business, government and academic conferences, workshops, committees, executive roundtables, training and media (print, broadcast, internet) in the region, and is often interviewed on TV news.  He was on the development committee for isc2.org's cloud security international technical professional certification, and one of its first application security professional credential holders.
 
Anthony is a guest and adjunct instructor at some universities (Master’s programs) and private training in the region, and is a life alumni member of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Jim Reavis

For many years, Jim Reavis has worked in the information security industry as an entrepreneur, writer, speaker, technologist and business strategist. Jim’s innovative thinking about emerging security trends have been published and presented widely throughout the industry and have influenced many. Jim is helping shape the future of information security and related technology industries as co-founder, CEO and driving force of the Cloud Security Alliance. Jim has been named as one of the Top 10 cloud computing leaders by SearchCloudComputing.com.
Jim is the President of Reavis Consulting Group, LLC, where he advises security companies, governments, large enterprises and other organizations on the implications of new trends such as Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things and how to take advantage of them. Jim founded SecurityPortal, the Internet’s largest website devoted to information security in 1998, and guided it until a successful exit in 2000. Jim has been an advisor on the launch of many industry ventures that have achieved a successful M&A exit or IPO. Jim is widely quoted in the press and has worked with hundreds of corporations on their information security strategy and technology roadmap. Jim has a background in networking technologies, marketing, product management and systems integration. Jim received a B.A. in Business Administration / Computer Science from Western Washington University in 1987 and formerly served on WWU’s alumni board. Jim was recognized as a WWU Distinguished Alumnus in 2015. In 2016, Jim was inducted into the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Hall of Fame.

Mr. Alfred Wong, Head of Information Technology at Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”), has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry in Hong Kong and China, as well as strong exposure by serving various senior management roles in IT applications delivery of e-Channels, Wealth Management, Core Banking and other retail banking applications.

Mr. Wong joined JETCO in December 2015 following the tenure with Standard Chartered Bank. He is passionate in driving FinTech innovation in order to create value to Hong Kong financial industry.
