In addition, the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM) and the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) whitepaper Cloud Computing: Benefits, Risks and Recommendations for Information Security are an important contribution to the cloud security body of knowledge. Since CSA first released the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) in 2010, thousands of IT and security professionals have taken the opportunity to upgrade their skillsets and enhance their careers by obtaining the CCSK. It was no surprise when Certification Magazine listed CCSK at #1 on the Average Salary Survey 2016. The web site CIO.com, in its Top Ten Cloud Computing Certifications study, says "This is the mother of all cloud computing security certifications. The CCSK certification is vendor-neutral, and certifies competency in key cloud security areas." CCSK provides evidence that an individual has successfully completed an examination covering the key concepts of the CSA Guidance, the CSA CCM, and the ENISA whitepaper. |

Talk Synopsis Dialogue – The Value of Cloud Certification In the rapidly progressing field of cloud security, the ever-changing threat landscape is one of the major concerns for cloud users. For Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to remain competitive and relevant in today’s market, certification is a common and proven method to provide an additional but pertinent layer of assurance to cloud users. Certification by independent third parties (certification bodies) allows CSPs to demonstrate that their cloud services are aligned with international, regional or industry standards and best practices in their security provisioning. Attaining the certifications indicates proficiency and that these services meet the high benchmark expected by the larger community. This dialogue will discuss the benefits of cloud certification (eg. CSA STAR) for CSPs, and how it can positively impact cloud adoption. |

For a safe and secure transportation system, the community must take a fresh look at the larger picture, and develop the policies and operations needed to incorporate security throughout the design. This presentation will give an overview of the evolution of vehicle connectivity, notable hacks, current measures and recommendations for securing the CV environment. |
